We’re excited to partner with a respected transport company-based North of the River and are seeking reliable Yard Persons to support the efficient operation of their busy yard and fleet.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the cleaning, organising, and maintenance of the yard and workshop areas
• Move and park vehicles, trailers, and machinery safely within the yard
• Conduct basic inspections and report any equipment faults or safety concerns
• Ensure tools, parts, and equipment are stored properly and easily accessible
• Support mechanics and other team members with general workshop duties
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment

• Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of heavy vehicles, machinery, or workshop operations an advantage
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, yard vehicles, and other equipment (licenses preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Manual driver’s licence required; HR licence desirable but not essential
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team
