We are currently seeking two enthusiastic Training Advisors to join our clients established team. The successful applicants will be working an 8/6 roster across multiple civil sites based in the Goldfields region. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a training role, preferably within the mining sector and also a proven track record in delivering comprehensive on-the-job training to both small and large groups, across workplace and classroom environments.

Role Description:

• Ensuring that the assessment activity complies with the principles of assessment (validity, fairness, reliability, flexibility, authenticity, currency)
• Training and refreshing qualifications on various equipment
• Further Development of personnel
• Creating plans and delivering site training objectives
• Developing retraining plans for those who do not achieve the required result during the assessment activity 
• Perform training activities and assessments for operators as required 
• Assist the trainee in the knowledge of all of the Operating Procedures for the item of plant they are training on

• Cert IV qualification in Training and Assessing 
• Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (desirable)
• Proficient in using computers and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrates excellent organisational and planning abilities
• Communicates clearly and confidently across all levels of an organisation
