HSEQ Advisor
Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specializing in blue- and white-collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries.
Our client is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join their team on a FIFO basis from Perth to a site in the Goldfields region. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable crew and play a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the ongoing maintenance and improvement of health & safety related matters
- Ensure full and accurate health and safety records are being maintained as per compliance requirements
- Identify risks and hazards within work area and notify
supervisor - Demonstrate Safety Leadership and improve the Safety
Culture through developing line capability in delivering
their safety accountabilities - Assist in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation
- Continually review, propose and where approved,
contribute to the development of improved safety
systems and procedures to optimize safety services
provided - Facilitate and/or participate in work area incident investigations, risk assessments and management of change processes.
- Provide training & advice on health and safety matters to site work areas.
To be considered you must have:
- Cert IV HSEQ minimum
- At least 5 years successful mining industry experience
- High level of general knowledge in safety, risk and hazard management.
- Broad understanding of training
- Broad understanding of other mining disciplines including mining, processing and maintenance
activities - Drivers Licence (manual)
- High energy, commitment and enthusiasm for the work with high personal goals for self and team
- Ability to take a whole of mine view to business operation and safety. (Desirable)
All shortlisted personnel must be able to attend a face to face interview at our WA office, and pass a full pre-employment medical as well as drug & alcohol testing prior to employment.
