Are you a CNC Machine Setter looking to play a vital role in the setup and manufacture of precision CNC machined parts?

Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the first-offs meet the required specifications, and you maintain effective use of CNC machinery as well as:

  • Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Set up and manufacture parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards.
  • Monitor CNC Machine Operators to guarantee compliance with operational instructions.
  • Produce high-quality parts that meet stringent quality standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings/diagrams and utilise calibrated measuring equipment appropriately.
Skills and experience required
  • Trade Certified Machinist or currently pursuing accredited training to obtain a Trade Certificate (preferred).
  • Proficient in recognising and using calibrated measuring equipment.
  • Experience in CNC machinery operation.
  • Knowledge of the Defence Industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Quality Standards and Requirements.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor others.
