Wheatstone Project

Techforce swung into action when workers were needed at short notice to construct civil works for Chevron’s Wheatstone natural gas project 200 kilometers north of Onslow. We filled all the necessary positions and got over 80 per cent of the candidates inducted on site. The team finished final trim, production and general earthworks ahead of schedule with no Lost Time Injuries.

The world’s fourth biggest iron ore producer trusts Techforce’s know-how to get the job done each day with over 40 highly experienced staff working in FMG’s sites throughout the Pilbara. We recently helped provide two back-to-back crews of industrial service professionals, getting an 18-person crew on the plane with full medicals within two days. Twenty per cent of our workforce are Indigenous Australians.

The Inpex group of companies relied on Techforce’s expert staff for its Ichthys LNG project in the Browse Basin off the West Australian coast. Our Darwin office provided 13 experienced specialists including civil operators, concreters, scaffolders, carpenters and riggers as permanent staff for the project’s civil and piping contractor.
This major project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG each year, along with approximately 100,000 barrels of condensate per day during peak production.
