Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems
- Conducting routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance
- Monitoring plant performance and responding to operational issues
- Working closely with maintenance and village teams
- Supporting environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (or equivalent) – essential
- Previous experience operating wastewater treatment plants, ideally in mining, industrial or remote environments (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of Australian environmental and safety regulations
- Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
