THE ROLE
You’ll step into professional remote kitchens where reliability, teamwork, and quality matter.
You’ll be expected to:
- Prepare and deliver quality meals across breakfast, lunch, crib, dinner, and functions.
- Work confidently in fast-paced FIFO and exploration camp environments.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and site-specific procedures.
- Manage kitchen operations independently on smaller camps when required.
- Work effectively with diverse teams and adapt quickly to changing site requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING
We’re looking for chefs who are:
- Experienced in FIFO, remote camps, mining, or exploration catering.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume commercial kitchens.
- Reliable, adaptable, and safety-focused.
- Committed to delivering quality food every service.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
✔️ Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
✔️ Previous FIFO/remote camp experience
✔️ National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
✔️ Food Safety Certificate
✔️ Full Australian working rights
✔️ Australian Driver’s Licence — advantageous
