  • Flexible Rosters: Choose between lifestyle-friendly 2:2 (Even Time) or structured 8:6 rosters.
  • Top Tier Earning Potential:
    • Contract: Rates ranging from $100ph to $125ph + Super.
    • Permanent: Salaries up to $230k + Super + Incentives.
  • FIFO Options: For our 2:2 opportunities, flights are paid from all major capital cities. Live on the East Coast and work in WA/SA without the cost.
  • Career Stability: Opportunities available for Temp-to-Perm transitions or straight Permanent contracts depending on your preference.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will hold operational responsibility for coordinating and supervising all underground personnel including Jumbo & Longhole Drillers, Bogger & Truck Operators, Charge Up, and Service Crews.
Your key accountabilities will include:
  • Leading daily pre-starts, organizing crews, and overseeing all operational activities on your shift to meet production and development targets.
  • Driving high standards of work quality to minimize rework, uphold housekeeping standards, and control costs through effective management of resources.
  • Championing a positive safety culture through daily workplace inspections, task observations, and effective incident investigations.
  • A key part of your role will be to train, mentor, and conduct practical assessments for your crew, supporting their development and ensuring everyone is competent for their assigned tasks.
  • Collaborating with Superintendents, Engineers, and the client to ensure seamless planning and execution.
  • Ensuring all reports, shift records, and mark-ups are completed accurately and on time.
Key Requirements
To be considered, you must hold the relevant statutory qualifications for the state you wish to work in:
  • For WA Roles:  A current WA Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (or a directly transferable NSW Practising Certificate).
  • For SA Roles:  Relevant Supervisor Competencies (e.g., S1, S2, S3 & G2) are required.
  • Proven experience as an Underground Supervisor leading both development and production crews in a hard rock environment.
  • A strong background in training, mentoring, and assessing operational crews.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a safe work environment with a high level of OHS understanding.
  • The ability to operate mobile equipment is highly regarded.
