We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Underground Supervisor to lead the team at the Tuart Mine near Kalgoorlie on a permanent full-time basis.
About the Role As Underground Supervisor, you’ll oversee day-to-day mining activities, ensuring underground production is executed safely, efficiently, and to plan. You’ll be an active on-site leader, driving safety, teamwork, and performance while supporting the crew in delivering high-quality operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and supervise underground crews to meet production and safety targets
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, and company standards
- Conduct shift meetings, inspections, and reporting activities
- Collaborate with site management and technical teams on daily planning and problem-solving
- Mentor and develop personnel, fostering a supportive, safety-first culture
- Current WA Underground Shift Supervisor Ticket (essential)
- Proven experience in underground mining supervision
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence and continuous improvement
