We are seeking experienced Underground Heavy-Duty Fitters to support major mining operations, with excellent opportunities for long-term employment, competitive rates, and FIFO rosters designed to suit your lifestyle.

�55357;�56615; The Role
As an Underground HD Fitter, you will be responsible for:
✅ Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on underground mining equipment.
✅ Carrying out scheduled servicing, inspections, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
✅ Maintaining and repairing underground mobile plant including:
- Underground trucks
- Loaders and boggers
- Jumbos and drilling equipment
- Long hole equipment
- Normet equipment
- Sandvik equipment
- Caterpillar equipment
- Volvo equipment
- Light vehicles and support machinery
✅ Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical information to efficiently identify and rectify faults.
✅ Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed safely and to site standards.
✅ Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to complete complex repairs in an underground environment.
⭐ About You
To be successful, you will have:
✔ Australian recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
✔ Proven underground mining experience working on heavy mobile equipment
✔ Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
✔ Experience using diagnostic tools and reading technical manuals/schematics
✔ Ability to work safely under pressure in a fast-paced mining environment
✔ Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
✔ Current manual driver's licence
✔ National Police Clearance (site requirements apply)
