- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Working on underground equipment including jumbos, loaders, trucks, Normet, and longhole rigs
- Performing scheduled servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Completing breakdown repairs in underground environments
- Disassembling and reassembling heavy equipment components
- Utilising diagnostic tools to efficiently fault-find and repair
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with strict safety standards
- Collaborating with team members on complex repairs and shutdown work
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (HD Mechanic)
- Proven experience working on underground mining equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Valid National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
