- Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, breakdowns, and repairs on underground drilling equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on production and development drill rigs.
- Perform major component replacements, rebuilds, and overhauls to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
- Complete pre-start inspections, preventative maintenance, and statutory inspections in accordance with OEM and site requirements.
- Maintain drilling equipment to minimise downtime and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical drawings to assist with fault finding and repairs.
- Work safely in an underground mining environment while adhering to site safety procedures, isolation requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and service documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with supervisors, planners, and operators to prioritise maintenance activities and coordinate equipment availability.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in underground workshops and work areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and maintenance efficiency.

- Epiroc/Atlas Copco Boomer, Simba, Boltec and Cabletec Drill Rigs
- Hydraulic systems, drivelines, diesel engines, transmissions, final drives, and electrical systems
- Experience with OEM preventative maintenance schedules and underground breakdown response
