- Charging headings, rises and stopes safely and efficiently
- Handling, transporting and storing explosives in accordance with site procedures
- Blast preparation, tie-ins, firing and post-blast inspections
- Working with ANFO, emulsion and packaged explosives
- Operating Charmec, Normet and charging equipment (site dependent)
- Working closely with development and production crews
- Maintaining high safety and operational standards
- Previous underground Charge Up or Shotfiring experience
- Experience across development and/or production mining
- Current Shotfirer's Licence highly regarded
- Strong understanding of underground blasting procedures
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Commitment to working safely and contributing to a productive crew
- Manual Driver's Licence required
- DGSC required (reimbursed after 3 months where applicable)
- Paid face-to-face induction in Perth prior to mobilisation
- Auto Driver's Licence accepted
- SSAN required
