We’re on the hunt for a high-impact Trainer & Assessor with solid underground mining experience to play a key role in lifting workforce capability and safety performance on site. This is an exciting opportunity to get on the ground, delivering hands-on, competency-based training across underground equipment while ensuring operators meet the highest site and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and assessments for underground mobile equipment and operations
- Conduct site inductions, VOCs, and refresher training
- Develop and update training materials, assessments, and competency frameworks
- Support workforce compliance with site standards and statutory requirements
- Work closely with supervisors to identify and close training gaps
- Maintain accurate training records and competency matrices
- Promote safe work practices and reinforce site safety culture
- Proven experience as a Trainer & Assessor in underground mining
- Strong knowledge of underground equipment and operations
- Confident delivering training to diverse crews in high-risk environments
- Ability to engage, coach, and influence frontline personnel
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and compliance
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
- Demonstrated underground mining experience (essential)
- Relevant tickets/competencies on underground equipment (highly regarded)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
