This is not a high-volume production line role. Every trailer is custom-built to suit specific client requirements, meaning attention to detail and pride in workmanship are essential.
You will be working toward the final stages of the manufacturing process, helping assemble and prepare truck trailers before paint and final completion.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving:
- Using hand and power tools daily
- Assembling and fitting trailer components
- Installing refrigerated trailer wall panels
- Applying foam insulation between internal and external metal panels
- Using sealants to ensure trailers are airtight
- General assembly and production work
- Mechanical background
- Roofing background
- Manufacturing or assembly background
- Trades assistant or labouring background
- Any role involving regular hand and power tool use
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Reliable with a solid work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Physically capable of hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Some Saturday work available
- Night shift opportunities may become available
- $38.40 per hour (casual loading included)
