About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment to ensure maximum uptime and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy mobile plant equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Conduct breakdown repairs in a safe and timely manner
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety standards and procedures
- Accurately complete maintenance reports and documentation
- Work collaboratively within a team environment and across
- Trade qualified Heavy Duty Fitter / Diesel Mechanic
- Proven experience working on heavy mobile plant (preferably in mining)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to work in remote FIFO environments
- Relevant Trade Certificate (HD Fitter / Diesel Mechanic)
- Valid Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
- Working at Heights (preferred)
- Confined Space (preferred)
- High Risk Licence (forklift - desirable)
