We are representing a key industry partner on Australia's most critical defence endeavour—the SSN-AUKUS submarine program. As the program ramps up, we are seeking a diligent and commercially astute Senior Commercial Advisor to join their high-performing team in Adelaide.

What You Will Drive
- You will support the Commercial Manager in all commercial aspects of the SSN-AUKUS build agreements and other critical contracts, ensuring all obligations are met and value is maximised for the business.
- You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of complex commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with program requirements and mitigating commercial risk.
- As a key commercial point of contact, you will manage active contracts, leading the resolution of complex issues to achieve positive, commercially-focused outcomes.
- You will work closely with project, legal, and technical teams, providing expert advice and support to ensure seamless contract execution from development through to implementation.
- You will build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including international partners.
About You
- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a commercial, legal, or business advisory role within a complex project or corporate environment (defence, shipbuilding, or heavy engineering highly regarded).
- Your experience covers the full lifecycle of complex contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and the resolution of challenging commercial issues.
- You possess excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and manage commercial risk.
- You are an autonomous, goal-directed professional, capable of managing multiple priorities with limited direction in a dynamic program environment.
- You hold a tertiary qualification in law, commerce, business management, or a related discipline.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Department of Defence security clearance.
