  • Initial contract to 26 March 2027, with potential for extension or permanency
We're seeking a proactive Project Administrator to support Queensland transmission line construction projects. Based at the Parkhurst depot, you'll work closely with project managers, construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors to keep purchasing, documentation and workforce coordination on track.

This role offers a mix of office administration and occasional site visits, with support from an experienced business lead.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Raising, tracking and reconciling purchase orders using Ariba.
  • Processing invoices and assisting with project cost tracking.
  • Coordinating suppliers, obtaining quotes and maintaining delivery trackers.
  • Managing project records, registers, site paperwork and compliance documentation.
  • Supporting employee and subcontractor onboarding, inductions and mobilisation.
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation and vehicle hire.
  • Providing administrative support to project teams and the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team.
About you

You're highly organised, comfortable working independently and confident communicating with busy site teams. You take ownership, follow through and adapt when priorities change.

You'll bring:
  • Experience in project administration, site administration or a similar support role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • A practical approach to solving problems and learning new systems.
Experience in construction, utilities, energy, mining or infrastructure is highly regarded. Applicants with strong transferable administration experience from other fast-paced industries are also encouraged to apply. Ariba experience is desirable, with training available.

What's on offer
  • $45 per hour plus superannuation.
  • Full-time weekday hours with flexible start and finish times.
  • Some work-from-home flexibility, agreed around depot and project requirements.
  • A company vehicle for required site travel, with applicable travel expenses covered.
  • Face-to-face onboarding, ideally commencing in the week of 9 November 2026.
  • Potential for extension or a permanent opportunity as further projects commence.
Occasional regional site travel is required.
