Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Install, service and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Inspect, test and commission refrigeration equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Maintain accurate service records and reporting documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and supervisors
- Participate in shutdowns, maintenance campaigns and project works as required
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Current ARCtick / Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Strong refrigeration/HVAC maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong safety focus
- Electrical Licence, White Card, Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid/CPR, LVR/CPR and Confined Space highly regarded
Experience within industrial, mining, manufacturing or large commercial environments will be highly regarded.
