Are you an experienced WHS professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and helping organisations improve the way they work?

Our client is looking for a Consultant to join their growing team. In this client-facing role, you'll work alongside their Principal Consultants to deliver practical compliance solutions across work health and safety, quality assurance, environmental management and human resources.

About the Role

As a Consultant, you'll partner with a diverse range of clients to design, implement and improve management systems that support legal compliance and operational excellence. No two days are the same—you'll split your time between client sites and the office, delivering practical advice that makes a real difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct WHS inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Design, implement and continuously improve management systems
  • Develop policies, procedures and compliance documentation
  • Deliver engaging training workshops and toolbox sessions
  • Provide practical advice to help clients achieve compliance outcomes
  • Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service
  • Prepare clear, professional reports and recommendations
  • Support project delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.
About You

You are a confident communicator who enjoys solving problems and building trusted relationships. You're equally comfortable conducting a site audit, facilitating training or developing documentation.

Essential
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Preffered three years' experience in Work Health and Safety
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a supportive team.
Highly Regarded
  • Lead Auditor qualification (ISO standards)
  • Experience developing management systems, policies and procedures
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Incident investigation experience
  • Fire Safety Adviser or Rehabilitation Coordinator qualifications.
What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is:
  • Client-focused and solutions-driven
  • Meticulous with attention to detail
  • Calm, professional and authentic
  • Passionate about continuous improvement
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
Why Join?

You'll work with experienced consultants on meaningful projects across a broad range of industries. You'll enjoy variety, autonomy and the opportunity to build lasting client partnerships while continuing to develop your professional expertise.

If you're passionate about helping businesses create safer, more compliant workplaces and want to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you.
