Due to significant growth, they are seeking an experienced Internal Recruitment Advisor to join their dynamic talent team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, sourcing the skilled operators and tradespeople who are the backbone of their major projects.
About the Role:
Based in their corporate head office, you will be a key player in MACA's internal talent acquisition function. This is a hands-on role focused on partnering with operational leaders to manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for critical site-based positions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a high volume of blue-collar roles (e.g., HD Fitters, Mobile Plant Operators, Drillers).
- Partnering closely with Site Managers and Superintendents to understand their manning requirements and build effective recruitment strategies.
- Writing compelling job advertisements, screening applications, and conducting thorough phone screens to create high-quality shortlists.
- Coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and facilitating the offer and onboarding process.
- Building and maintaining strong talent pools for upcoming projects and shutdown requirements.
- Proven experience as an Internal or Agency Recruitment Advisor, with a strong focus on blue-collar, site-based roles for the mining, civil, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-volume recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with operational leaders.
- A proactive and resilient attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: A strong casual rate of $45 - $55 per hour + Super, based on your experience.
