The Opportunity
This is the work-life balance you've been looking for in the mining sector. Forget the long swing rotations and missed weekends. We are offering a Monday to Friday roster (8.5 hrs Mon-Thu, 8 hrs Fri) that ensures you are home for dinner every night.
Based at a major mine site near Collie, you are perfectly positioned whether you live locally in town or enjoy the coastal lifestyle in Bunbury/Eaton (approx. 45-50 min drive).
You will be joining a historic operation that plays a critical role in WA's energy sector.
The Role
This is a dynamic, hybrid position. We aren't looking for someone who just sits behind a screen; we need a proactive operator who can manage the procurement process and isn't afraid to jump on the forklift when a delivery arrives.
- Manage the purchasing and expediting process for equipment, goods, and services.
- Handle the daily receipt, storage, and issue of goods (Forklift work involved).
- Handle invoice reconciliations and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Manage dangerous/hazardous materials handling and general materials management.
- 5+ years of experience in the Resources/Mining industry is essential.
- You must be proficient in Pronto and MS Office.
- Valid "C" Class Drivers Licence and Forklift Ticket (LF).
- Strong understanding of supply chain routines and hazardous materials handling.
- Desirable: Diploma in Business/Supply.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (No weekends).
- Hours: Approx. 42 hours per week.
- Rate: $51.35/hr flat rate to candidate.
- Term: Temporary contract (ASAP Start).
