With sustained growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded team delivering complex engineering and manufacturing projects for some of Australia's most demanding industries.
This is a hands-on role that will see you take ownership of projects from initial customer engagement through to final delivery, working closely with engineering, production, quality and supply chain teams to ensure successful outcomes.
We are also interested in speaking with Project Coordinators, Project Officers, Production Planners or Manufacturing Supervisors looking to take the next step into a Project Management position.
About the Role
You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from smaller manufacturing programs through to large-scale, technically complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers and production disciplines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing projects from initiation through to final delivery
- Developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking key milestones
- Coordinating engineering, manufacturing, quality and procurement activities
- Managing project budgets, costs and expenditure
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes
- Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation
- Providing regular project updates and reporting to stakeholders
- Managing project scope, priorities and change requests
- Working closely with workshop and operational teams to remove bottlenecks and drive delivery performance
We are looking for someone who enjoys working within a technical environment and can confidently balance customer expectations, commercial requirements and operational outcomes.
You may already be an experienced Project Manager, or you may currently be working in a project support, engineering or manufacturing leadership role and be ready for your next career step.
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Experience managing projects, programs, production activities or manufacturing operations
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling software
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project delivery
- Experience with budgets, cost control and project expenditure
- Exposure to supplier and subcontractor management
- A practical understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
