The Opportunity
As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you’ll take the lead across a defined sector or portfolio, driving revenue growth through strategic client engagement, business development and best-practice recruitment delivery.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, manage critical hiring projects, and build deep talent pipelines while contributing to the continued growth of the wider business.
This is a senior individual contributor role suited to someone who thrives on ownership, accountability and results.

What You’ll Be Doing
Sector Leadership & Client Growth
- Own and grow a defined market or sector
- Develop trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to expand client spend across projects and workforce solutions
- Provide market intelligence around talent availability, salaries and hiring trends
- Position yourself as a specialist within your sector
- Operate with autonomy to develop and win new business
- Build long-term client relationships across your market
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings
- Generate referrals and opportunities across the broader business
- Manage full end-to-end recruitment processes
- Source, screen and assess high-quality candidates
- Deliver accurate shortlists and recruitment insights to clients
- Build and maintain active talent pools aligned to market demand
- Manage offers, onboarding and placement processes
- Ensure candidates meet all compliance and mobilisation requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams around medicals, licensing and onboarding
- Maintain accurate records across systems and databases
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
- Build long-term candidate relationships and referral networks
- Conduct post-placement aftercare with both candidates and clients
Essential Experience & Skills
- Strong recruitment or labour hire experience
- Demonstrated success in business development and client growth
- Proven ability to meet revenue and placement targets
- Sector expertise within your market
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence using recruitment systems, databases and sourcing platforms
- High-performing and entrepreneurial culture
- Strong existing client base and market reputation
