Techforce Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a full-time permanent opportunity within a well-established organisation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll environment and can maintain a high level of accuracy while working to strict processing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and review a high volume of employee timesheets
  • Check timesheets and payroll information for accuracy, completeness and appropriate approvals
  • Follow up missing, incomplete or incorrect timesheet information
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure deadlines are met
  • Set up new employees and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Process employee changes, leave, allowances, deductions and other payroll information
  • Respond to employee and manager payroll enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with payroll calculations, reconciliations, reporting and audits
  • Liaise with Payroll, HR, Finance and operational teams
  • Support the wider payroll team during busy processing periods
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurately manage sensitive employee information
About You
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Experience using Pronto or SuccessFactors
  • Strong data-entry skills with a high level of speed and accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and concurrent deadlines
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team
  • Strong communication and internal customer service skills
  • Confidence following up employees and managers regarding missing or incorrect information
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Good understanding of payroll terminology and processes
