About the Role:
This position is focused on operating and setting up advanced robotic blasting equipment used to prepare new steel for industrial coating applications.
The role combines:
- Robotic blasting operation and setup
- Programming and adjusting machine specifications
- Manual abrasive blasting where required
- Monitoring blast quality and production standards
- Working within large blast booths using high-pressure blasting equipment
- Troubleshooting and optimising automated blasting processes
- Previous Painter / Sandblaster experience
- Experience operating or programming robotic or automated machinery
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to work in an industrial workshop environment
- Comfortable performing manual blasting duties
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Robotic welding experience
- Automation or machine programming exposure
- Industrial coatings or surface preparation background
- Temporary to permanent opportunity after 6 months
- Monday to Friday roster
- Attractive casual rates
- 7:00AM – 3:30PM day shift
- 38-hour weeks
