We are seeking experienced Senior MEP Planners to support a project, with an immediate start available on an initial 3-6 month contract.
This opportunity suits experienced planners with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction activities, project sequencing and the coordination of multiple work fronts within a major project environment.
Working closely with construction and project teams, you will support the development and maintenance of project schedules, monitor progress, identify scheduling risks and help coordinate the delivery of MEP works.
About the role
Typical responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating detailed schedules for MEP construction activities.
- Coordinating programme inputs from engineering, procurement, construction and subcontractor teams.
- Tracking progress against milestones and identifying delays or emerging risks.
- Analysing critical paths, dependencies and the impact of changes on project delivery.
- Preparing lookahead schedules and progress reports.
- Supporting recovery planning and communicating scheduling priorities to project stakeholders.
- Approximately 10 years' relevant planning and scheduling experience.
- Strong experience planning mechanical, electrical and plumbing works within complex construction projects.
- Tier 1 contractor or major project experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret construction methodology and translate it into practical project schedules.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multidisciplinary teams.
- $100 per hour.
- Immediate start.
- Initial 3-6 month contract.
- FIFO options from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
- DIDO option available.
- Usual 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, with flexibility open for discussion.
