The Opportunity:

We need a Mobilisation Coordinator to act as the critical link ensuring that our skilled workforce arrives on-site, fully compliant and ready to perform from day one. In this fast-paced role, you will be the central hub, orchestrating logistics and communicating with multiple stakeholders to enable the success of major projects and shutdowns. This is a position for a master coordinator who excels under pressure and finds satisfaction in flawless execution.
   
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate End-to-End Logistics:  Manage all aspects of worker mobilisation, including flights, camp accommodation, site access requests, PPE allocation, and required inductions.
• Act as the Central Communication Hub:  Liaise daily with clients, internal recruitment teams, site supervisors, and candidates to confirm mobilisation dates, travel details, and site-specific requirements.
• Manage Critical Data & Schedules:  Develop and maintain real-time mobilisation trackers, complex rosters, and project deployment schedules using Excel or other scheduling tools.
• Ensure 100% Compliance:  Meticulously manage all critical documentation, including the verification and uploading of VOCs, medicals, trade licenses, and site-specific tickets.
• Support Strategic Planning:  Assist in planning and forecasting workforce numbers for major shutdowns and projects, ensuring resource availability meets operational demand.
• Provide Frontline Support:  Serve as the primary point of contact for all worker queries related to their mobilisation, travel, and onboarding process.
• Drive Process Efficiency:  Utilize internal systems (e.g., JobAdder, SiteMate, ERMS, VMS) to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
• Facilitate Smooth Onboarding:  Prepare and distribute comprehensive mobilisation packs, onboarding documents, and welcome communications to ensure a positive candidate experience.

• Core Experience:  A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mobilisation, scheduling, or logistics coordination role within the mining, energy, or resources sector. Proven experience supporting blue-collar workforces and Tier 1 clients is essential.
• Systems Proficiency:  High-level competency with mobilisation platforms (e.g., JobAdder, ERMS, VMS) and intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Organisational Mastery:  Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines simultaneously without compromising on quality or accuracy.
• Communication Skills:  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Compliance Knowledge:  A solid understanding of the requirements for mining site access, including different types of medicals, site-specific inductions, and essential licenses/tickets. 

• Direct experience managing large-scale shutdown mobilisations (100+ personnel).
• Previous exposure to demobilisation planning and cross-project rostering.
• Experience in a lead or senior coordinator role, or a desire to progress into one.
