About the Opportunity:
Techforce Personnel is recruiting for two Mechanical Supervisor positions with a leading mining and maintenance contractor. These permanent opportunities form part of a newly awarded, long-term maintenance contract at a major mining operation in Western Australia.
The role will suit experienced supervisors with a strong background in conveyor systems and fixed plant operations. This is a predominately operational maintenance role focused on inspection, reliability, and mechanical integrity—rather than short-term shutdown work.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity and safety of conveyor systems through inspection, maintenance, and leadership. Your role will include:
- Conducting regular inspections and identifying mechanical and hygiene issues affecting conveyor performance.
- Managing conveyor hygiene—addressing cleaning, buildup, skirt wear, pulley lagging, and related issues.
- Performing and supervising mechanical maintenance including:
- Skirt and scraper adjustments, changeouts, and rebuilds.
- Roller replacements and other mechanical repairs.
- Supporting and guiding belt splicers with mechanical work and minor repairs.
- Working closely with site teams to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality across all activities.

- Demonstrated experience in conveyor operations, not just shutdown execution.
- A solid mechanical understanding and the ability to identify issues early.
