We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team, working across crushing plant operations on site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently handle maintenance, shutdowns, and breakdowns.
The Role:
- Carry out routine, shutdown, and breakdown maintenance on crushing plant equipment
- Operate and monitor crushing plant as required, including inspections and logging performance data
- Maintain and operate mobile equipment (e.g. loaders, bobcats)
- Complete inspections, servicing, and reporting documentation
- Maintain high housekeeping standards across plant, workshop, and vehicles
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure production targets are met
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses
- Participate in risk assessments and safety initiatives
- Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 12 months experience in crushing plant or fixed plant maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Experience with hydraulics, crushers, and general mechanical maintenance
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- High attention to safety and detail
- HR Licence
- High Risk Work Licence (DG, RB, CN, WP)
- Confined Space, Working at Heights & Gas Testing
- First Aid / CPR
