Are you a strategic "hunter" with the network and technical credibility to win major projects?
Our client, a prominent player in the EIC and electrical engineering space, is seeking a high-impact Manager of Projects and Strategy. Your core mission will be to elevate the business by attracting and driving end-to-end EIC (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control) Design and Construct project opportunities. This role is instrumental in moving the company "up the value chain" from its current market position.
This is a key strategic role for a technical leader who can leverage their industry network and expertise to hunt, shape, and secure large-scale contracts with Tier 1 and mid-tier clients.
What You'll Do:
- Proactively identify and pursue major EIC Design and Construct project opportunities.
- Leverage your existing network within Tier 1 and mid-tier operators and EPCs to generate leads and build partnerships.
- Act as the strategic and technical lead during the bid process, shaping credible and compelling solutions for clients.
- Drive the entire project development lifecycle, from initial client engagement to contract award.
- Serve as a high-level technical advisor to both clients and internal teams.
What You'll Bring:
- An essential background in electrical contracting and/or the switchboard/switchroom building space.
- Demonstrated experience and a credible network with Tier 1 and/or mid-tier operators and EPCs.
- A proven track record as a "hunter," with success in attracting and winning large, complex projects.
- The ability to think strategically and lead the technical solutioning for major bids.
- Experience with OT (Control Systems) would be a bonus but is not essential.
