The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a steel environment and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. A willingness to learn and assist in various areas of production is essential. 

What You’ll Do:

• Machine operation within the steel production process.
• Using machinery to cut and bend steel reinforcing bars to size.
• Ensure all production activities align with quality and safety standards
• Conduct regular checks on machinery and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Follow production schedules to achieve output targets.
• Keep work areas tidy, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
• Coordinate with management and QA. 

• Previous experience in steel production or machine operation with strong machining aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and gain hands-on training in steel manufacturing processes.
• Strong focus on safety and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet production goals.
• Forklift licence essential.
• Dogging ticket desirable.
