About the Role
Opportunities are available for experienced Sandvik Long Hole Drillers to join the team at an underground gold mining operation in Western Australia. This role offers flights from Perth to work for one of Australia’s most respected underground operators.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely and accurately set up drill rigs
- Operate Long Hole drill rigs to complete production drilling—uphole and downhole—to required depths, diameters, and angles
- Read and follow mine instruction plans, ensuring drilling meets correct line, gradient, and profile specifications
- Conduct thorough pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to maintain safety and performance
- Excellent renumeration for the right candidates $75 - $90 per hour

- Previous experience operating Underground Long Hole Drills — Sandvik DL432i preferred.
- Cert III in Drilling Operations (preferred but not essential).
- Construction White Card.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Underground mining experience essential.
- Ability to pass a laboratory drug & alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
