We're looking for experienced Heavy-Duty Fitters and Heavy Road Transport Fitters to join our growing team. This is a hands-on workshop-based role working across a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, supporting repairs, rebuilds, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, repair, and overhaul heavy mobile plant, specialised equipment, trucks, trailers, and associated machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical faults to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Carry out component replacements, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and complete rebuilds to a high standard.
- Complete all work safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate service records and adhering to company safety procedures.
(Highly Regarded) Experience working on any of the following is highly regarded:
- Heavy mobile plant and earthmoving equipment
- Drill rigs and specialised machinery
- Prime movers, trailers, and heavy road transport equipment
- Hydraulic systems, pumps, engines, transmissions, and final drives
- Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Road Transport Fitter, or equivalent.
- Experience working on heavy plant, civil equipment, mining machinery, agricultural equipment, or heavy road transport.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
