This is a great opportunity for a mechanically strong HD Fitter who has experience working on CAT engines and heavy mining equipment, particularly those coming from a mining contracting background.
The Role:
- Workshop-based position in Bibra Lake
- Monday–Friday roster
- Diagnose, repair and maintain CAT engines and heavy mobile equipment
- Carry out servicing, fault finding and preventative maintenance
- Work alongside an experienced team in a busy workshop environment
- Opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position
- Trade-qualified Heavy-Duty Mechanic / HD Fitter
- Strong CAT engine experience
- Mining or mining contracting background highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong focus on quality, safety and getting the job done right
- $70–$72ph casual
- Monday–Friday — home every night
- Temp to perm after 3.5 months
