About the Role:
Techforce have multiple positions available for LV Fitters | Light Vehicle Fitters on 2/1 Day Shift Only FIFO Rosters- based at a Tier 1 Iron Ore mine site in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Awesome opportunity to join an Australian Owned company that's been heavily specialised in providing contractor and maintenance support for the mining industry for the past 35 years at least.
What you'll be Doing:
- Conduct scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs on Toyota Hilux, LandCruiser, Prado, and Coaster buses, as well as other light vehicles used on site.
- Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and rectification of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out inspections and report on vehicle condition, identifying potential defects and recommending corrective actions.
- Complete component overhauls, brake repairs, suspension work, and driveline maintenance as required.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out safely and in accordance with OEM standards and site maintenance procedures
- Work collaboratively with other fitters, auto electricians, and service technicians to achieve maintenance targets
What's in it for You:
- Temp to Perm contract - Sign over Full Time with my Client after 6 months
- $46.00 base + Overtime/Penalties after 7.6 hrs, Double Time paid on weekends | 12 hour days | Approx $70ph + Superannuation paid on all hours worked
- 2/1 FIFO roster (2 weeks DS, 1 week RNR)
- Day Shift only roster - No Night Shift
- FIFO from Perth Airport - Eastern State workers welcome but will pay for own flights to & from Perth

What you Need:
- Mine site experience essential
- Experience with mine-spec Toyota Light Vehicles and various busses
- Cert III Light Vehicle Technologies Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
- Rio Tinto inducted - Lockholders & Essentials for Site Cards - preferred but not essential
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Full Unlimited Australian Working Rights
- Able to pass a Lab Drug & Alcohol Screen & a Pre-Employment Medical
- National Police Clearance
- Dangerous Goods Card
