- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatching, and the safe loading and unloading of goods using a forklift.
- Maintain precise inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and stocktakes, investigating discrepancies, and processing transactions in the ERP system.
- Champion best practices in inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to support workshop activities without interruption.
- Understand and uphold compliance requirements related to materials, inventory management, and chain of responsibility.
- Provide leadership and direction on the workshop floor, coordinating daily activities to meet operational deadlines and KPIs.
About You
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 3+ years) in a hybrid role that includes both procurement/purchasing and hands-on inventory/warehouse management.
- Strong technical proficiency in a computerised ERP environment, with direct experience in Pronto being highly advantageous.
- A current and valid Forklift (LF) Licence is essential.
- A valid Driver's Licence.
- A Certificate in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management is required.
- Proven ability to lead or supervise a small team is highly desirable.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing a busy workshop stores environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
