In this role, you’ll work closely with mining operations team on site to drive safety performance, support frontline leaders, and embed practical HSET initiatives across active production areas. Your hands-on experience in load & haul will be key to influencing safe behaviours and improving site outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site HSET support across load & haul mining operations
- Coach supervisors and operators on safe work practices
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Deliver and support safety training and toolbox talks
- Promote a proactive safety culture aligned with production targets
- Proven experience as an HSET Advisor within mining production environments
- Strong background in load & haul operations
- Ability to engage effectively with frontline crews and leadership
- Solid understanding of mining safety systems and procedures
- Relevant HSET qualifications (e.g., Cert IV WHS or equivalent)
