Our client is experiencing significant growth across our Civil & Construction, Bulk & Detailed Earthworks, Dewatering, and maintenance operations.

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HSEQ Advisors to join our team on a FIFO 8:6 roster, providing essential support to our HSE Leadership and project teams across the business, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices. 

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tender documentation for Health and Safety
  • Prepare HSE start-up documentation for Projects (as required)
  • Assist HSE Lead as required
  • Update Document Control paperwork
  • Provide Weekly and Monthly statistical reports for Projects to HSE Lead.
  • Support health and safety requirements in the field and promote the highest level of safety for our workers on site.
  • Support daily health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox and daily inspections.
  • Support Supervision.
  • Provide health and safety notifications to discuss at pre-start meetings.
  • Liaise with site management and supervision to create a risk and hazard register for the site.
  • Conduct and coordinate health and safety inspections on site.
  • Conduct site inductions and training.
  • Provide training to workers on the Safety Management Systems and site safety requirements.
  • Communicate Health and Safety related matters to HSE Lead and workers.
  
  Your Experience:
  • Min 2+ years HSE Advisor experience in civil construction & mining.
  • Rio Tinto – Inducted.
  • Exposure to conducting CRAW workshops.
  • Hold Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) or equivalent.
  • Valid open and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Competent understanding of current workplace health and safety legislation in Western Australia.
  • ICAM Lead Investigation qualification.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40122).
  • Experience using STEMS (desirable).

  • Ability to liaise with all levels of staff and management, internal and client based.
