We are currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join a well-established organisation in Brisbane CBD on a 6-month contract.
Working closely with operational leaders and site management teams, you will provide specialist advice and support across health, safety, environment and quality, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture across the business.
About the Role
- 6-month contract opportunity
- Brisbane CBD location – easily accessible via public transport
- Monday to Friday roster – 7.6 hours per day
- No weekend or public holiday work required
- Start date anticipated for mid-July (TBC)
- Provide expert HSEQ advice and support to operational teams
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
- Deliver HSE training, inductions and coaching to employees and contractors
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company standards and management systems
- Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture across the business
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Health or higher (essential)
- Demonstrated HSEQ experience, ideally within facilities maintenance or a multi-service environment
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong computer literacy and reporting skills
- Ability to complete a Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) and Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS) successfully
