We currently have an opportunity for an exceptional HSE Advisor to join our one of our trusted Tier 1 mining clients
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent you will be responsible for providing support onsite for Mining Production operations in the delivery of work activities safely and to ensure health, safety & environmental management system compliance and support the development of industry best practice health, safety & environmental initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide the ongoing maintenance and improvement of health & safety related matters
- Ensure full and accurate health and safety records are being maintained as per compliance requirements
- Support line management in their accountability for legislative obligations and WHS Management System compliance requirements.
- Facilitate and/or participate in work area incident investigations, risk assessments and management of change processes.
- Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
- Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site
- Cert IV OH&S(minimum)
- 2 -5 years' minimum experience as a HSE Advisor in Mining Production environment
- Proven production mining experience
- Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
- Previous experience within HSE databases
- Valid Australian Driver's licence
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
- Incident investigation experience (eg ICAM, Taproot)
