What You Will Drive
- Provide practical, visible, and engaging on-the-ground safety leadership across your assigned project area.
- Champion a proactive, positive safety culture, building strong relationships with supervisors, operators, and contractor partners.
- Conduct thorough and effective incident investigations (ICAM), identifying root causes and implementing meaningful corrective actions.
- Develop, review, and implement key safety documentation, including SWMS, JHAs, and risk assessments, ensuring they are practical and fit-for-purpose.
- Mentor and coach project personnel on best-practice safety procedures, driving a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Proven experience as a WHS Advisor or HSE Advisor in a site-based, operational role is essential.
- Your background will be in heavy industrial environments such as mining production, contract mining, civil construction, bulk haulage, or fixed plant maintenance.
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS is required.
- ICAM investigation training is highly desirable.
- You are a natural communicator and influencer who can build rapport and drive safety engagement from the ground up.
