The Opportunity
We are entering a significant growth phase across our Civil & Construction, Bulk Earthworks, and Maintenance operations. As we evolve, we are strengthening our capabilities to support this success.

We are seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor to join our team. This is a unique hybrid role that combines site-based field leadership with high-level technical support (tenders and project start-ups). You will work closely with site personnel and management to ensure the safe delivery of contracts and the winning of new work.

What You Will Do
  • Field Leadership: Champion safety culture on-site by conducting toolbox talks, pre-starts, and daily field inspections. Support supervision in managing risks and hazards practically.
  • Project Start-Up & Tenders: Unlike standard site roles, you will assist the HSE Lead in preparing tender documentation for future work and setting up HSE management plans for new project mobilizations.
  • Systems & Reporting: Manage the document control process, maintain risk registers, and produce weekly/monthly statistical reports for leadership.
  • Training & Mentoring: Utilize your TAE qualification to deliver site inductions and training on Safety Management Systems to the workforce.
  • Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents using ICAM methodology and drive corrective actions.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 4+ years combined experience across Construction and Mining Resources (Civil/Earthworks focus preferred).
  • Qualifications:
    • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (Diploma preferred).
    • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40122) –  Essential.
    • ICAM Lead Investigation qualification –  Essential.
    • Construction White Card & Open C Class License.
  • Site Ready:  Current inductions with RTIO, FMG, or BHP are highly regarded.
  • Technical Skills:  Strong technical writing skills for tenders and investigations. Proficiency in Excel (for reporting) is essential. Experience with STEMS and CRAW workshops is desirable.
Why Apply?
  • Balanced Role: A mix of field interaction and technical office/tender work—great for career development.
  • Consistent Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off.
  • Growth: Join a company currently expanding its Civil and Earthworks footprint.
To apply, please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience with Civil Earthworks and technical writing.
