Employment: Casual to Permanent after 3 months
This is a great opportunity for experienced HD Fitters looking for a long-term FIFO position working on a range of earthmoving and heavy mobile mining equipment.
About the Role
- Maintain, service and repair heavy earthmoving and mining equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Complete scheduled servicing and component change-outs
- Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard
- Work safely and efficiently within a mining environment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site procedures
- Trade-qualified HD Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Previous mining or heavy earthmoving equipment experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on heavy mobile equipment
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Strong commitment to safety
- Up to $90ph
- 2/1 or 2/2 roster
- FIFO flights from Perth or Darwin
- Casual to permanent opportunity after 3 months
