Techforce is partnering with an established Western Australian engineering and technology business involved in the development and manufacture of highly specialised engineered products.

We are recruiting a Graduate Engineer to join an experienced multidisciplinary engineering team supporting product development, testing, validation and continuous improvement. This opportunity would suit a recent graduate or early-career engineer who enjoys combining practical engineering, testing, data analysis and problem solving, rather than working solely within a desk-based design role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the testing, development and optimisation of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Plan, coordinate and undertake engineering testing across a variety of operating conditions.
  • Analyse test results, sensor information and operational data to identify performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with the calibration and optimisation of mechanical systems and associated control functions.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electronics, controls and software engineers to support product development activities.
  • Support the development and validation of system diagnostics and control strategies.
  • Investigate technical issues and support structured engineering problem solving.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, engineering processes and product performance.
  • Support products throughout development, manufacturing and ongoing engineering improvement.
The Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as are engineers with approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interest in practical engineering, product development and testing.
  • An interest in engines, propulsion systems, rotating equipment, automotive systems or similar mechanical technology would be highly regarded.
  • Experience using Python, MATLAB or similar scripting/data analysis tools would be advantageous.
Why Apply?
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer wanting to build genuine hands-on engineering capability within a technically advanced product-development environment.

Rather than being limited to one engineering discipline, you will gain exposure across mechanical systems, testing, instrumentation, data analysis, controls, software interaction and product development.
