Techforce is seeking an experienced Field Coordinator to support high‑performing exploration and mining programs. This role suits someone who thrives in the field, leads from the front, and is committed to delivering safe, compliant, and efficient operational outcomes.
Field Coordination & Contractor Management
- Coordinate and supervise all field activities, including personnel and contracting partners
- Monitor contractor productivity, compliance, and performance
- Lead pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and maintain accurate operational records
- Ensure all field work complies with company policies, mining regulations, and QAQC protocols
- Oversee pad preparation, permitting, logistics, and procurement (including Coupa requests) to support seamless field operations
Sample Management & Geoscience Support
- Assist exploration teams with prioritising core yard workflows, regional, and near-mine project requirements
- Coordinate RC chip and sample processing with strict QAQC adherence
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of all Exploration and Resource Development samples
- Provide reliable geoscientific field expertise, responding to data and information needs
Safety Leadership
- Support and uphold the Safety Management System, embedding a strong safety-first culture
- Ensure standard work procedures and safe systems of work are understood and applied; rectify gaps directly in the field and assign follow‑up actions
- Ensure all personnel are adequately trained for operational requirements
Minimum requirements
- Valid C class driver’s licence
- Scheduled 26 – Certificate and BSBWHS411 / RIIRIS402E units of competency
- HRW licence for forklift
- Provide First Aid
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- National police clearance and two recent references
- Full Australian working rights
