Techforce are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators for an immediate start at the Wodgina lithium operation, one of the world’s largest known hard rock lithium deposits.
About the site
Wodgina is a large-scale Pilbara operation featuring an open pit mine supported by waste dumps, ROM pad and tailings storage facilities. The site includes a crushing and flotation processing plant, workshops, offices, gas-fired power generation and bore fields.
The operation runs a conventional drill, blast, load and haul mining cycle and offers a modern FIFO camp accommodating up to 900 personnel, with quality facilities including meals, gym and recreational areas.
The role
You will be responsible for operating large mining excavators within a production environment, supporting efficient load and haul activities while maintaining strong safety standards.
Key responsibilities
• safe and efficient operation of large production excavators
• loading haul trucks to achieve production targets
• completing pre-starts and basic maintenance checks
• working closely with supervisors and team members
• adhering to all site safety policies and procedures
Requirements
• demonstrated experience operating excavators in open pit mining
• strong understanding of load and haul operations
• current driver’s licence
• ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• strong commitment to safety and teamwork
