Working alongside electricians and project teams, you will assist with the installation and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure on a large-scale energy project.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include assisting with:
- Installation of primary and secondary electrical equipment
- Cable installation and cable pulling activities
- Cable termination support
- Earthing system installation
- Protection and control system installation
- Equipment fit-out and assembly
- Testing and commissioning support
- Safe operation of telehandlers and material handling equipment
- General trade assistant duties as required
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant on electrical, industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Telehandler ticket and operating experience
- Experience working on transmission substations (132kV–330kV) highly regarded
- Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects
- High Voltage installation experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Construction White Card
- Telehandler Licence/Ticket
- EWP Licence (highly regarded)
- Working at Heights
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Current Driver's Licence
