This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical leader to oversee site crews and support the safe and successful delivery of a significant electrical upgrade scope.
The Role As Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee electrical crews and coordinate day-to-day site activities, working closely with construction, commissioning and other project disciplines to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical trades and subcontractors
- Manage day-to-day electrical activities across the project
- Supervise HV/LV electrical installation and associated works
- Coordinate switchroom, cabling and electrical equipment upgrade activities
- Coordinate labour, materials and resources to maintain project schedules
- Review drawings, work packs and technical documentation
- Monitor work quality, progress and compliance
- Lead pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site coordination activities
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, commissioning and project teams
- Identify and resolve site issues and escalate technical matters where required
- Maintain accurate progress reporting and site documentation
- Provide leadership and support to electrical personnel
- Current BHP induction is essential.
- Full S26 Statutory Supervisor qualification, including required modules and DEMIRS S26 exam certificate.
- Relevant electrical trade qualification and licence.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Foreman or Superintendent within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Strong HV/LV and fixed-plant construction and maintenance experience.
- Strong safety leadership and ability to supervise electrical crews in high-risk environments.
- Experience with switchrooms, cabling, electrical upgrades and brownfield works highly regarded.
- Construction Card required; MSIC highly regarded.
This is a great opportunity to join a major WA resources project on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, with highly competitive rates of $110/hr days and $121/hr nights.
You’ll take on a hands-on leadership role, supervising electrical crews and coordinating HV/LV works while working alongside experienced construction, commissioning and project teams.
