The Opportunity: 
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Superintendent to join our team for a residential-based role in Weipa, QLD. This is a Monday-to-Friday position offering 55 hours per week Full time, with excellent long-term benefits and support for relocation.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Lead and supervise electrical teams, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance oversight
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of work
  • Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities meet.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment to meet project timelines
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and health & safety policies at all times
  • Assist with electrical audits and inspections, and respond to non-compliance issues
  • Participate in toolbox talks, site meetings, and ongoing safety initiatives
About You:
  • Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Construction White Card
  • LVR/CPR certification(current)
  • Ability to obtain or complete a Coal Board Medical
  • Strong leadership, communication, and compliance knowledge
  • Residential availability in Weipa (this is not a FIFO role) or Willing to relocate
  • 2+ years experience as a Electrical Superintendent
